I have been trying to find the operation temperature range for a wd10jpvx-60jc3t0. I recently cleaned the fan and heat sink. Also replaced the thermal paste. According to a temperature monitoring app it states that the sensor value has reached its threshold. I have checked and realize that this can be due to a number of factors and not the hard drive overheating or getting ready to call it quits. I would prefer to monitor the temperature on my own. Therefore I am asking for the range. Thanks for any and all help. You are greatly appreciated.

How about posting the values for future use?
For that WD10JPVX drive the specified operating temperature range is 0°C to 60°C (32°F to 140°F). In normal use I would try to keep it under 50°C if possible since lower temps are generally better for long term reliability. If your monitoring app says a sensor hit its threshold it does not automatically mean the drive is overheating or failing because some SMART attributes can trigger warnings for reasons unrelated to temperature. You can cross check the live drive temperature and overall SMART health with tools like CrystalDiskInfo or Stellar Data Recovery which also shows drive health along with temperature so you can see if there is actually a problem before worrying.
