Wd10jmvw pinout

I have a WD10JMVW-11AJGS2 my book that had the case damaged, the drive is still fully fuctional, so I use it as storage for an ARM soc. Would anyone be able to tell me what the 12 pins to the left of the usb socket are used for? A pinout would be even better if possible. Thanks in advance for your help.

Welcome to the Community.

The disk drive within a WD My Book is subject to change, and as such it may or may not have a jumper pin block, and even if it does it may behave differently between units or not function at all.

Thanks for your reply, Trancer, but that is not what I was asking. Most hard drive manufacturers used to post complete info including pinouts for their drives, including WD. Now it seems that is considered classified info and no longer given out? There are jumper pins on the drive I quoted and that is why I gave the complete model info for it. To me, if a person pays for a product they should be entitled to info of this type. But thanks anyway.
