WD10J31X and Macbook White Unibody

Hi,
I am planning to upgrade my wife’s white MacBook7,1 (MC516) with a WD10J31X. However, I read about Seagate SSHDs being somewhat incompatible because of (supposedly) SATA 1.5Gbps vs 6Gbps, resulting in the system hanging from time to time. Has anyone tested the WD10J31X in a MacBook if it works fine?
Thanks and kind regards
Chris

Hello,

Check the specs for the WD10J31X and if they match your computer requirements then you will not have any issues.

This is a SATA 6 Gb/s drive. If your computer supports that then it should work properly.

This is what I am asking. For both products, specifications are very short.
The MacBook specifications do not mention anything at all, but my guess is SATA 1.5 (at least this what I see in the hardware profiler with the current HD), and for the WD disk it only lists SATA 6 Gbps. Usually SATA standards should be backwards compatible, but I would like to know definitely before buying.
