I plan to install the WD10EARS on a windows 7 64bit system, as a storage drive, I don’t plan to boot or install the OS from/on it, however other computers in my home network are still running XP and will also access the drive as storage, furthermore I would also be using data recovery software and use WD10EARS to save the recovered items to. Should I run WD Align on it?
