WD10EADS - "Dynamic Invalid" after running wdidle3

Hi, I ran the wdidle3 utility from DOS for this drive and 2 other WDs.

The others are working fine but this one won’t show up in Windows.

It shows up fine in BIOS, showing capacity and everything, but in Windows 7 under Disk Management it has Dynamic, next line, Invalid under it.

It appears when I go into Properties/Hardware but when I click to Populate under Volumes for it, it says Volume information for thjis disk cannot be found.

Help! :frowning:

EDIT - It appears that the data is definitely still there. Running data recovery software, it is all accessible and as far as I can see recoverable (tested it with a couple of files), but not directly through Windows Explorer.

Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.
