WD Warranty Support Problem - 8TB Red

WD received my 8 TB in-warranty failed Red drive on 12-15-2020. 23 days later on January 6th, my RMA status page shows “pending return” and no replacement has been shipped. WD’s lack of responsiveness is unacceptable. How long does it take them to honor their warranty??? So far, WD’s warranty support ■■■■■.

This is something I was very worried about after dealing with ordering a new drive and having issues simply getting a replacement sent for that. I am sorry to hear this : (

WD is probably behind from the holidays and staffing reductions due to COVID etc
