I forgot the password for WD Unlocker but luckily it auto unlock for my computer. I can extract the files inside but could anyone enlight me on how to reset the password/format the drive so I can put a new password and the drive could be use for other computer as well? I own a WD Passport Ultra. Thank you
I would suggest you to copy all the data from the passport to another location then, go to disk management.
Run->enter diskmgmt.msc
There you can see your passport drive, right click on the disk and select format.
This will format the drive completely, then reinitialize the drive and you can setup a new password.
Do you mean I delete all the partition the on the disc then plug in reformat repartition and use as usual
