Market lists all my three Android devices as incompatible with the Remote software, which is a telltale sign of regioning on the Android market…
Can anyone tell me where I could get the APK?

This is weird, AFAIK the WD Remote app should be available everywhere, where are you located? You may try looking for the WD TV Remote APK in Google.

If I search for it on the market from my mobile it doesn’t even come up in the results. If I open the URL directly (on the mobile) it tells me it’s not compatible with my device.
If I open the market from my PC it tells me it’s not compatible with any of my devices, despite the fact that I have three devices running from Android 2.2 to ICS… which has lead me to believe that it’s not available in all regions (since that’s the message it gives you when that’s the case).
I did try locating the apk but nothing came up…only APKs for that third-party remote.

PS Oh, yes, same thing happens with WD Photos as well!
Ah, found it on XDA ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1426994),,) but it’s not compatible with ICS - **bleep**, WD, why not?
It is compatible with my other devices though…
