I have been using WD TV Media player to stream videos from my Macbook Pro via AFP (Apple File Protocol) file sharing the last few years. Now I upgraded to High Sierra and as a result of the new APFS file system with High Sierra, the AFP protocol no longer works.
I have tried to connect via SMB (Windows Share) which is the only option available with High Sierra, however despite using the same username and password in the network share option under Windows Share, it advises me that it is an incorrect username or password.
Just wondering if anyone is having the same issue, and/or someone might know of a “fix” around it?
