WD TV Media Player + Wireless adapter

Hello,

My WD TV HD player (2nd gen) is having issues now and I was thinking to buy the latest model. It was the model without built-in wifi.

I have a very specific need to attach the wireless adapter (USB bundle) to the player. I need it as the actual position of the player in the living room has a sub-optimal wireless signal from my router, so I use the adapter (DualBand) now to reach the “sweet spot” and it works OK (streaming full HD),

I know that the latest model (WD TV Media Player) has the built-in wifi. Is there any option to make the wireless adapter work regardless?

Hello Admiral72,
I am having the same problem as I want to be able to print to my wireless printer.
The tag should be, “Help with printer”.
Everything works fine until I connect the NETGEAR (which I am using now via my mobile).
I hop that we get some helpful hints in reply…
