WD TV Live won't play M2TS - Help

Hello.  I am trying to play files from my Panasonic HC-V700M camcorder which records videos in M2TS/MTS format.  However my WD TV live doesn’t seem to be playing them.  It keeps saying that there is no playable media.  However when I use MKVMerge and put the M2TS files in a MKV container, then the WD TV Live will play the MKV.  Does the WD TV support M2TS?  What could be the problem?

Below is the information about one of the M2TS files:

Any reason why it’s not playing M2TS files?

Thanks.

Are you using a media server that doesn’t support them, or are they on a network shareor USB media?

Ah!  You got me thinking.  I was using Vuze and trying to stream a video from my Desktop to the WD TV.  I also tried streaming it to my PS3 and it doesnt work either.  I’ve come to find out that Vuze does not support M2TS through DLNA.  When I plugged a USB HDD to my router and had my router stream to the WD TV, it will play M2TS.

Thanks!
