WD TV Live won't detect Elements 1.5 TB drive

Hi !

I just got myself a new WD TV live but it doesn’t detect the WD Elements 1.5 TB drive I already owned.

My 500GB WD Passport works just fine, but I prefer to use the larger drive.

I tried updating the firmware (from i believe 1.02.21) to the latest version 1.04.17 but no luck … I can feel the elements drive spinning and also the white led on the back of the drive is on. But the USB icon on the WD TV Live won’t light up.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
