WD TV Live won't boot anymore

I bought a new UHD TV to replace my old LCD TV recently. I connected the new TV, AV receiver and the WD TV Live box exactly the same way as my old LCD TV. However, the WD TV Live box won’t boot up anymore. It remains on the WD splash screen and my remote control cannot work with the box too. If I remain the power on, and unplug the HDMI cable, I notice the boot continued and the USB sign lighted up again.

I don’t have such issue with my old TV, and of course, the same connection and ports used.

Here is how the connection is like: All the devices, including the WD TV Live box, to the AV receiver via HDMIs. The HDMI out from the AV receiver goes to the HDMI port of the new TV.

Please help as I truly love this box.

Thanks.

Hi UncleBeng, have you tried using another resolution from the WD TV menu?

I did try to change the resolution using a composite cable since HDMI cable connection stop the WD box from booting. However, after I set the resolution and output to HDMI and connect back my HDMI cable, the problem comes back immediately.
