I recently bought a WD TV Live. I have no idea about firmware or anything like that. I do not know how to connect it to the network either. I connected this to my Tv and my hard drive which is also WD. No matter what I try to play it continually shows the loading circle. I have tried both resets and disconnecting it. Still nothing. What can I do?

You are probably using firmware that is crippled by MKV files that use header compression. You’ll need to learn about firmware.
ok so how do i fix that?
Upgrade the firmware.
