WD TV live streaming stop finding my computer network

Hello guys!!

Honestly, I’m desperate.
My WD tv live streaming doesn’t find my computer on network shares anymore. I think the reason for this was the Windows 10 last update. It changed my network settings. I tried to put the right settings but it didn’t work.

I tried everything that and saw here in the forum (like turn off password protected sharing), but nothing works.

Can anyone help plz??

Hi there, I believe the WD TV Live Streaming media player is not compatible with Windows 10. But I think you can try to check if the unit has the firmware up to date and try resetting the device. Do you have another computer with an older Windows OS that you can test the unit with? Below are some links that may be helpful to you.

Yes, this is a problem that started with the windows10 “creators update”, version 1703. I rolled back to windows 10 version 1607 and all is working fine. You can read all about others’ efforts to fix this bug, but nothing much so far:

Thanks RMR57!!

How could I do to rolled back to Windows 1607?
Could you help me?

Not sure I can help you or not. Apparently, you can rollback from the Creators Edition for up to 10 days after installation. See this:

Unless you made an image backup, I’m not sure you can rollback. Good luck.
