My Live plus will not play MKV, MP4 and MOV (H.264) files is this normal or am I doing something wrong?
I would imagine something’s wrong — all three of those container types are supported.
Are you getting an error message?
it says unsupported media.
I have downloaded handbrake and converted a few movies since and they are playing as MP4s, I guess I’ll just have to do that with ones that wont play.
So in fact your player can play mp4 files just not the way yours are encoded.
It looks that way, whatever handbrake does must code it correctly.
Please post the full TEXT output of MEDIAINFO for such a file before you handbrake it.
