I have a DLink DNS-323 and a FreeNAS box. I migrated all my video files to the FreeNAS box and was all well for over six months. Then it wouldn’t play anything. I could still browse and select files but the just wont play. Same file on DNS-323 Still Plays. Then I had a power outage and had to reconfigure the FreeNAS box. Still same issue. Is there a setting someone knows about in the FreeNAS which has to be setup or something. I know get a message tell me to look at file compatible list in manual. If I can’t get this to work I will buy another dedicated NAS.
