WD TV Live LEDs backwards

Hello,

I have had a WD TV Live for a number of years now, and it works pretty well. However, about 6 months ago, after restarting the unit, I noticed that the power and USB LED’s were suddenly reversed - the USB LED came on when turning on the unit at first, then when connecting a drive or USB stick, the power LED started to blink then came on. The unit still works fine besides this strange behavior of the LED’s being backwards. Is there a way to make the power LED the power LED again and the USB LED the USB LED again?

Did the front label get removed and then re-applied upside down?

Otherwise, it’s simply not possible for software to have had that effect – perhaps some (very bizarre) hardware malfunction, but electronically, I can’t see how it’d happen…
