WD TV Live is slow to boot

Hi,

I have WD TV Live and it takes more than 2 minutes to boot.  I have a 3TB WD My Book Essential attached to it.  I have more than 2000+ media files on this.

I live in India where power failures are frequent.  The long boot times are very annoying if you are in the middle of a movie.

I guess WD TV Live is indexing the content while booting up.  Is there a way to configure WD TV to not index the content.  I am fine with accessing the files via the “Files” menu.

I don’t clearly comprehend what does the initial boot process has to do with playing the movie

you can set the media library off to see if that helps
