WD TV Live Hub MKV Subtitles problem

So I have noticed a little problem or bug when playing my anime mkvs.

They are Blu Ray rips and it has english and japanese audio and english subtitles.

But when I am enabling the subtitles,  only some of the subs are being shown. Like only a couple of lines are gonna appear every now and then. And when I played the mkv with VLC and other programs, all the subtitles are being shown, so it has to be the WD TV.

Can anyone please help me with this?

update:

i just noticed that on the part when a subttle was suppose to appear, i saw a quick flash of white rectangle at the area of the subtitle, signaling that the subtitle will be buggy. although not all episodes are like that. some have eccellent subtitles on them.

Have you read the SUBTITLE STICKY at the top of this forum??

yes but it didn’t answer my question. i don’t think whatever they were talking there applies to live hub
