I recently bought a wd tv live mediaplayer but I can’t get it to connect with the tv through hdmi. There are a lot of topics related to this problem but noone seems to have a real solution.
Any new suggestions?

The HDMI handshaking does not work correctly with some TVs. Sometimes you can get it to work by setting up the hdmi output manually. Try connecting to your TV using the composite video output of the WD box. Go into the setup and set the video output to hdmi. Select a resolution/frequency that your TV supports. Then switch back to the HDMI output.
