WD TV cannot see my external USB drive

Hi all

I have just got a WD TV Live type WDAAP0000NBK, firmware version 1.06.15_V.

I have tried connecting my “passport” USB drive 1 TB but the WD TV cannot see it.

If I instead copy some files to a smaller USB stick I can see the files…

Anyone have a suggestion on how to solve this?

Is it due to external HD size or…?

The file system on the external HD is NTFS

you did not mention what brand / model drive is

Hi again My drive is a vebatim. I have recently tried the drive at a friend of mine ón his wd tv were it worked fine. I did not check his firmware version T
