i am wanting to set up home network in order to back up my Mac as well as use the same back up to feed movies to my WD TV i have read about the WD My Book World Edition and it seems it could do the job.
DLNA refers to devices capable of recognizing one another on a network along with their contents.
For example: if you have two WD TV Live units along with wireless USB devices connected to each of them, WD TV Live allows you to associate a network group to each device along with a name via the network setup. In this way one WD Live unit recognizes the other one in a home network and can play the media content on the remote one. Very cool and neat from WD to support this on the Live.
