WD Sync Starting the Synch From Scratch When I Reboot

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone else is having this issue? I’m backing up my work computer and every time I reboot my machine it starts syncing from the beginning (i.e., 0 of 25,000 files), which means my folders never get synced! It’s really annoying.

Am I missing something obvious here?

Hello,

I haven’t seen this before. What firmware are you running on the unit? Make sure is the latest.

Have you tried reinstalling the app?

I have. It’s weird. Maybe I just don’t understand but every day when I boot up it shows a 0 out of 25,500 files and progress through during the day. Is that normal? At what point would I ever reach 25,500 unless I leave it on permanently?
