I have installed latest WD SSD Dasboard in order to update the firmware of my WD GREEN SSD, but “Check for updates” displays a message that there is no internet connection and I cannot continue! I am using wireless network adapter on this PC and there is an Internet connection. How to skip this invalid check for missing internet? Thanks!

Refuse the products of WD, its specialists are not able to bring the products of the working state. They ignore consumers and deceive.

@ivangd, Thank you for your post. We are aware of the issue and working on a fix, to be released this week.
@scwd I’m having the same issue. So if the app says it can’t be updated due to no connection to the internet, how are you going to apply the updated fix?

WD SSD Dashboard has an option to use local file to update the firmware, but WD support should provide us the link for download of the new UE450000 firmware. How will be used this option if we are not able to download the file from WD support site?
when will the update be ready?

Why is my version 2.3.2.0, there’s an update available, yet when I check the download page, the version there is 2.3.1.0 And will anyone from WD read this? I just don’t have much faith in WD customer back-up anymore. This isn’t the first problem I’ve had with WD Dashboard. Can someone from WD confirm you have read this? You said you would release an update and release it last week. Hello, is there anybody there?

An update is now available. Why didn’t they tell us here? Released 29 June.

@scwd Hello, I downloaded the latest dashboard update, but it cannot be installed. I see only an empty window and nothing happens.
Finally, I was able to apply the new firmware to my WD Green SSD. I downloaded again the latest version of WD SSD Dashboard and I was able to install it. But the speed of my SSD was not changed - write speed is slow, but random read is slower than random write :)))
This SSD is looks as a toy, I will not buy anything by WD anymore.
