Check whether you’ve got any plugins installed and running on Chrome that might interfere with scripting running, limit cookies or tracking and other stuff like that.
I’ve seen issues like you mention in the past, but a spot of whitelisting (or removal in one or two cases) sorted things out for me with Chrome.
