Just got the new usb 3.0 3 tb my book essential drive thinking I could back up my wd my book live 3 tb drive that is on a network but the smart ware wants to back up my computer to the essential drive and my live drive is locked how do you unlock the drive so I can back it up ?? it tells you to click the the drive picture but when you do it gives a error message …
I thought these drives are suppose to work together ??
Hi, try pressing the reset button on the back of the my book live for 4 seconds and try again.
