I de-installed the WD Smartware and it is no longer visible under the installed products, but I have still the “WD Backup Engine” and the “WD Drive Service” Processes running - how can that happen and I how can I stop these? (WIN 7)

I recommend you try resetting the computer and verify again if the WD Smartware is actually uninstalled from the computer. If the issue persists then I recommend you contact WD Support.
