WD Smartware Pro on-demand backup

Hi

I have a scheduled backup of my drives to an internal WD drive via MIcrosoft backup and everything works fine.

I have bought a WD My Passport Ultra to do on-demand backups and put  the drive in my fireproof safe.

Ity appears that neither Microsoft nor WD Smartware Pro can do this.  If so, doesn’t seem very “Smart” nor “Pro”.

Any suggestions, please?

WD SmartWare can be set to do on-demand backups by using the schedule option and setting a close time frame. However, it will still be a a gradual backup and will not start over.
