How do I get WD SmartWare Pro to recognize a PNY 128 GB USB 3.0 thumb drive connected directly to my laptop (a lenovo think pad yoga)?
The Smartware Pro supports a wide variety of external drive units.
The removable storage you mention does not show up as an external drive when connected which could be a reason why Smartware does not see it as a source for backup.
