WD SmartWare paused

I’ve recently bought My Passport Essential and until recently it was working fine, but it seemed to have paused and it not backing up any more even though it shows I have a couple of GB which need to be copied. The strange thing is I don’t think I added that many files recently. I was a bit worried it might be doing some sort of recovery or I started to defrag it by mistake. Please can someone help?

It looks like the WD SmartWare is not working properly. I recommend that you follow the next steps:

Uninstall SmartWare: (click on the link below for more info)

Download & install the latest version of the Software (use the link below):

Restart the computer, open the SmartWare and Click on ‘‘Start backup’’. After this check if it does the same.
