WD SmartWare Passport which runs 32 bit

I have an old WD SmartWare Passport hard disk which runs 32 bit. But most of the computers now run 64 bit so it can’t be opened in 64 bit computers.

Any suggestion to make it run on the 64 bit computer?

Hi,

Starting with macOS Catalina, 32 bit apps are no longer compatible with macOS. Whereas, a 64 bit Windows 10 PC could run all 32 bit programs.

Thanks for your reply.

Is there way to get the data out from the old Passport if it was backup by 32-bit MacOS? Can I connect It to a 32-bit Window 10 smartware?

Dear Sir,

Is there any way to upgrade WD SmartWare Passport the 32-bit macOS software to 64-bit so that I can restore the old back files?

If you did Time Machine backup using an older Mac, you’ll need to connect the drive to a Mac OS computer to restore data: View and Recover Files from a Time Machine Backup on macOS

So there is no way to upgrade my WD Passport app from 32 to 64?
Just toss it in trash? Any way to turn in for new one?
