WD Smartware not reporting full hard disk

i have had a case of data not being backed up by smartware because the hard disk was full. does smartware not warn about capacity running low?

Hello,

The WD Smartware software will not notify you when the drive is getting full but you should be able to notice the free space on the WD Smartware status bar.

would this be an item to consider when an update to the software is being published? could be just the icon on the status bar changing to red - or something like this.

Did you set up notifications in the Dashboard? See image below.

thanks - but i have no dashboard. does the dashboard only apply to the cloud? i am only backing up to a local mybook drive.
