WD smartware freezes

I just downloaded the latest version of WD that they were telling me to download and now when I go to backup my computer, the WD smartware freezes.  I think nothing is being copied from my computer to the WD harddrive.  When I am in the WD software and select backup, then the little clock to backup my files now, the software freezes.  Any suggestions?

I recommend you unisntall WD Smartware from the computer and then reinstall its latest version.
