Hi, i have this problem, My Book didn’t show in my notebook and my pc, it just show the wd smartware VCD, but it say “Windows can’t access the Disk”, actually i already disassemble My Book Essential, and i tried to recover my data on my pc, but it said “drive is not initialized” so i initialize the disk, but i said “unallocated space”, is there any way to recover my data? my 1 TB important data? sorry for my bad in english.
At this point the damage you’ve done has already been too much. You might have a shot if you take it to a professional data recovery company, but that’s about it in the way of options.
