Hi, I am a newbie and want to ask for your advice. I connected my MBL 2TB to my laptop using straight ethernet cable. WD smartware can not detect my MBL however I can see it in my Windows network. Previously, WD smartware can see my MBL when it is connected to the router.
Did you change the IP of the MBL? smartware is looking for the mbl at http://mybooklive/smartware so if the dhcp address has changed or you’ve taken it off the network, it probably won’t find it.
If you open your browser and type http://mybooklive/UI do you get the dashboard?
