WD Smart Ware Windows 2.4.4 makes Windows Explorer has stopped working

Have you read information that is provided in Help? How about the User Manuals?

For SmartWare did you choose a share to backup to by using the dropdown menu? See image below. Are you doing a category or file backup?

If you have five PC’s plus mobile devices surely you should be able to use this one, the My Cloud. See image below.
