WD Sharespace stuck in "starting system now"

I had a hard drive fail on me, WD send me a replacement drive, however after plugging in the new replacement drive, now I cannot access the drive at all. I get “starting system now…” with progress bar when I try to access the drive via webpage. Now even taking the replacement drive out, it still does now go beyond the message. Any ideas? I have too much information on the drive to just give up.

Are you accessing the network admin or the drive?

You should not get any message when accessing the drive…

Did you try power cycle or resetting…

Lets hope you removed the failed drive and not any of the working ones
