WD Sharespace + Seagate Freeagent Theater +

hi, anyone can help me for configuring my Seagate Freeagent Theater to connect to my WD Sharespace.

Here is my setup and problem i am facing:

WD Sharespace is connected to a linksys router, i have made it join a workgroup, i have no issue in accessing folders through a computer. The computer can see 3 different drive (configuration, public and download), is the default i guess from the Sharespace,which i need to input a logon credentials. However, when i use my Seagate Freeagent Theater to access the sharespace, the seagate cannot see those 3 drive, it only see the configuration drive.

is there anyone who can help me on this issue.

just an update!

I have manage to get it to work.

here are the steps:

  1. on your seagate freeagent theater just go to the Network

  2. create a shortcut, by clicking on the “My Shortcut” and clicking “add”

  3. put in the User/Pass of your Sharespace (either the admin username or other user name and password you created)

  4. input the IP Address of the Sharespace

  5. and just save it, and from the shorcuts you click on the IP address there, it should now open the folders.

 Sorry, nobody responded.  It was probably because nobody knew the Seagate Freeagent Theater.  Thanks for the info.
