WD sharespace HD resynch

Hello there,

I have a WD Sharespace 4tb on a Raid5.

Yesterday I got a HD that crashed and I bought a new one today (exact same).

I carefully followed the steps to replace it but now when I check the Disk manager it says:

HDD 4    DataVolume    931.51 GB    WDC WD10EADS-00L5B1    Good      
HDD 3    Unassigned    931.51 GB    WDC WD10EADS-00L5B1    New      
HDD 2    DataVolume    931.51 GB    WDC WD10EADS-00L5B1    Good      
HDD 1    DataVolume    931.51 GB    WDC WD10EADS-00L5B1    Good

As you can figure, HDD3 is the new one. I waited hours and hours and it doesn’t seem to synch.

My question is:

Is that normal? Is there anything I should do on my side to rebuilt the Raid?

(for informantion I have more that 2.5 tb data that I do not want to loose. So rebuilting the entire Raid wouldn’t be a good solution for me).
