Wd Share Folder Permissions?

Hello,

I just Bought WD Sharespace .My network is on  “WORKGROUP” . I Create a Folder on Sharepace Named" Backup"

I Saw there is only two options for User permissions

  1. Read

  2. All rights

the problem is ,When i installed Backup software on clients PCs like Fback  http://www.fbackup.com/ .My users have Full Administrator rights on PCs.

When i create Backup and chose Destination it ask me the Destination  user name and password I enter " admin" and password also, the backup starts and completed successfully, The problem is User open Fback software and browse the Destination and they delete the folder.

Is there any option for “Write Only” permission on Folder, so user can just write not to delete .

Is there any Solution  ?

Hello,

Unfortunately, there is not Write Only option for the users. Only Read and Read/Write options.
