WD SES Device not recognized on Windows 7

Hello.

I had windows XP SP3 where I’d installed WD Smartware on it. After that I disabled the VCD. I formatted my PC to have windows 7.

Windows 7 recognized the dirvers for My Passport, but it didn’t recognize the one for the VCD. Please help me to have a solution.

You may need to make sure you have the latest firmware update for the VCD.  Otherwise, maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.
