WD security for internal SSD

I purchased WD SSD 4TB for using as an external drive. So, I also purchased an enclosure, but most of the manufacturers don’t provide the security option. Is there a way to use WD security for my SSD?
What I understand is that WD security also supported other drives before and I can’t find it any longer.
