I have a macbook. When I use one user to unlock my passport, other user can open and access drives and files if they my computer went on idle and they log in as another user.
This is a huge security flaw. Is there a fix to this?

I’d recommend checking your macOS security settings immediately. Make sure file sharing is turned off, and maybe look into enabling a screensaver that requires a password after a short idle period.
