I have a 3 TB My Book external hard drive. WD Security auto unlock feature worked for months and now it’s not working. Problem started after I connected to another computer. Of course, had to use my password on the second PC because auto unlock was set up for my username on my first PC. Then I go back to my first PC where auto unlock was set up and now it doesn’t work I have to use WD Security with my password every time I attach the drive. I have tried several remedies - 1) removed password and went through setup process (enabled auto unlock when setting up.) 2) disabled and re-enabled auto unlock (which means also removing password and setting up again.) 3)uninstalled and reinstalled WS Security software. I also cleared the cache. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
