WD Scorpio Blue (500GB) and Adaptec 51245 Controller

Hi,

I have four WD Scorpio blue drives that detect just fine with my Adaptec 51245 controller        

3x Model Number:       WDC WD5000BPVT-22HXZT3                 
1x Model Number:       WDC WD5000BPVT-24HXZT3                 

then I have 6 drives that don’t work with my adaptec 51245 controller, but work just fine with my onboard sata controller:

6x Model Number:       WDC WD5000BPVT-75HXZT3                 

I want to connect them all to my adaptec controller, how do I fix this?

Hello,

I recommend contacting your controller card manufacturer. However keep in mind that Scorpio drives are not supported in Raid configurations.
