WD Remote on Galaxy S4

Hello everyone!

I’m new here and I’m writing of a problem with the WD Remote app.

I currently have a Samsung S4 and from some updates I can’t start WD Remote because it gives some security problem.

My os is currently in italian, so I’m going to translate the error: “The application has been locked due to an unauthorized access to the device os”, it then asks to update policies from the server but it can’t update them.

I’m currently unable to use this great app from my WD TV Live, I know I can use the IR remote on S4 but that’s like use the original remote without the qwerty keyboard of the smartphone.

Is it something depending from WD app or from Samsung new security policies?

Have you tried deleting the app and then re-installing it.

Did you get the app from the play store.

I’ve reinstalled it three-ice from the store.

I’ve deleted cache and other data from application manager.

Nothing changed.
