WD Red Pro cache size & prices

I noticed in the WD Store WD Red Pro 4 TB costs $174.99 with 64 MB of cache but only $129.99 with 256 MB of cache. Can someone explain why so much more cache costs so much less?

Check it well… maybe the cheaper one is not the PRO model. If it has the EFAX designation then it is SMR drive and it has 256mb cache… if it’s EFRX its good but still non PRO model and it has 64MB of cache.

EDIT: There has been only one 4TB model in WD RED PRO data sheet for the last 3 years. WD4003FFBX and always had a 256MB cache.

EDIT: I haven’t noticed post date… until now
