Question on the Red drive, does it have auto power down for non use? Or it is power and spinning 100% of the time? Want to use this for a NAS and want the drive to spin all the time.

The Red drives are Enterprise level and will run 24/7 based on the environment. They will only go into standby or sleep mode based on the devices you plug them into. Our My Cloud drive enclosures do have a standby feature that can be disabled so that the NAS will not go into sleep mode. You would have to check with your NAS enclosure to see if it has a standby mode or not.
