WD RAID Manager - fixed or not?

The release notes for WD Drive Manager (RAID support for my WD Drive) says:

Fixed an issue related to reports of some customers, under
certain conditions, experiencing data loss when updating to
Apple’s OS X Mavericks (10.9).
For more information on this issue, please click here.
– and that link leads to a post entittled

‘External Drives for Mac Experiencing Data Loss with Maverick OS – UPDATED FOR NOVEMBER 6, 2013’

which indicates the problem still exists and says among ohter things
‘WD strongly urges our customers to uninstall these software applications’

So is version 3.1.0 of the WD Drive Manager fixed and the forum post is old and misleading, or is Version 3.1.0 of the WD Drive Manager still flawed and dangerous to use?
